Congratulations New Hampshire! Your Governor – Maggie Hassan, put pen to paper and officially set into motion the state’s new law which will legalizes the medical use of cannabis in the state.
‘‘Allowing doctors to provide relief to patients through the use of appropriately regulated and dispensed medical marijuana is the compassionate and right policy for the state of New Hampshire”, proclaimed Governor Hassan.
The new medical marijuana law, will fire up immediately, allowing for eligible patients who are granted a recommendation from their doctor to retain up to two ounces of medical pot legally. The newly implemented initiative also creates a system to license medical marijuana collectives which will distribute chronic medicine to state sanctioned patients.
As the governor’s pen glides across this piece of legislation, leaving her signature – and enacting New Hampshire’s new medical marijuana law, the state will be the 20th to “green light” medical marijuana legislation in the US.
